CFHL and CFHL, UC Required Trainings
Civil Rights Training - Must complete annually by December 1.
Annual Civil Rights training is required for all CFHL program staff. UCCE Advisors who provide administrative oversight or serve as a local Principal Investigator to CFHL, UCCE teams are also expected to complete the training. Once the training is completed a certificate of completion can be downloaded and should be kept on file in your local UCCE office.
Annual Civil Rights training is offered by CFHL Statewide Training. 2 options for Civil Rights Training:
- Live training is offered soon after the beginning of each FFY. Please watch the CFHL Statewide Training newsletter or visit CFHL Statewide Training for dates and times.
- Self-paced training: Staff can sign up themselves and then add the Civil Rights Training to their account from the Course Catalog. If a staff member has taken a Leah's Pantry training in the past, then they may need to reach out to CFHLStatewideTraining@leahspantry.org to switch their account over to the CFHL-only portion of the online training site.
CalFresh Healthy Living, UC Participant Data Collection Policy & Training - Must complete annually by December 1.
All CFHL, UC staff must complete training annually to manage participant contact data and PII. UCCE Advisors who provide administrative oversight or serve as a local Principal Investigator to CFHL, UCCE teams are also expected to complete the training. The training materials contain a signature form attesting to completion of the training, which should be kept on file in your local UCCE office.
Food Safety Training (required for Educators, optional for Supervisors)
- Every 3 years – renew certification - see Food Safety Training
